Updated 5/12/24. The flows of the Big Thompson Currently running through Moraine Park are at 42 cfs. Flows of The Big Thompson and Fall river into lake Estes are currently running at 94 cfs. Lower portions of Moraine Park, Fall River, Glacier Creek are open to fishing. Try San Juan worms, Egg Patterns, Foam wing RS2, Pheasant tail, Copper John. Dries try Parachute Adams, Griffiths Gnat, Bwo, Ext body Bwo. Streamers try Thin mint, Green, Blk, White.

Updated 5/12/24. Estes Angler is now open for the 2024 fishing season. So lets get right into it. The flows into Lake Estes are currently 94 cfs. As of this post current flows out of Lake Estes are now running at 110 cfs.. Soft Hackle Sow Bugs, Foam wing RS2, Pheasant tails, Poison Tung, Juju Baetis, Radiation Baetis, Zebra midges, Egg Patterns are working well. Dry flies include Parachute Adams, ,Mole Flies, BWOs and Ext BWOs. Wooly Buggers try Black, Olive, Thin Mint. leech patterns in Black,Brown,Green.
